History
Pacific Tool Incorporated began business in June of 1966, at 3530 Rainier Avenue South in Seattle, Washington. We moved to Redmond, Washington in 1978, and today, 43 years later, PTI remains a family-owned corporation.
PTI’s Management Team
Frank Garbarino
President/CEO/Founder of PTI
Frank Garbarino provides executive leadership and direction to PTI personnel, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers. His expertise in the design, development, and implementation of PTI products, programs, and procedures for the manufacturing process is an invaluable resource for the company.
Background: Frank started PTI along with three other founders and shepherded the company through the boom-and-bust cycles of the aerospace industries. He eventually bought out his partners and has grown PTI to its current size and level of service, with more than 40 employees.
Scott F. Garbarino
Vice President/Chief Operating Officer
Scott Garbarino provides the leadership and direction in implementing PTI’s vision, policy, administrative procedures, and quality management system, along with providing direction to the General Manager.
Background: Scott has worked in all areas of PTI since 1984, when he took on a part-time summer job of cleaning machines at the of age 15. By the age of 17 he was working full-time at PTI, first operating, then programming machines, eventually taking on design duties and then various management roles, to now serving as Vice President of PTI. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Washington and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Arizona State University.
Dale Marshall
General Manager
Since 2004, Dale Marshall has served as PTI’s General Manager for the manufacturing process, business development, sales and customer service, receiving, inventory, shipping, human resource management, and administration. Dale also has the role of Chief Coordinator for all Manufacturing, Process, Administrative, and Information Technology (IT) systems, and special projects.
Background: Before joining PTI, Dale was Director of Operations at Jamco America Inc. from 1998 to 2001, with responsibilities for facilities in the Everett area and Long Beach, CA. Prior to that, he worked at Bumstead/BMI for 18 years. Dale hired on at Bumstead as a machinist and was ultimately promoted to Operations Manager. He was a key team member for successful ERP system implementation and D1-9000 approval.
