What materials can PTI machine?
We can typically work with any machinable stock. A partial list of materials we can machine includes:

What finishing operations does PTI offer?
PTI does not offer in-house finishing operations. We support your product finishing needs with our qualified subcontractors.
What is PTI’s minimum run?
We will work with any quantities required, depending upon complexity and long-term customer needs. Please call us to discuss your project and production requirements.
What is the largest-sizeD part I can order?
Lathe work: PTI’s standard volume production processes use materials up to a 2½” (64 mm) diameter. We also can use chucking operations to make larger sizes up to approximately 10” x 24” (254 mm x 610 mm).
Mill work: Additionally, we have machining center facilities that can handle materials as large as 39” x 20” x 20” (991 mm x 508 mm x 508 mm).

How soon can I get a quote?
PTI makes every effort to provide your quote within two working days, if not sooner. At times we have to wait for replies from suppliers of specialized materials or tooling, which could take a little longer. Depending on the complexity of the part, we may take extra time to examine several production methods to determine what is most effective. We also may get in touch with you to clarify technical details or to propose possible changes that could improve the function or manufacture of your design.
